We
Over the past fifty years, United Cerebral Palsy has become one of the largest and most trusted names in American health charities.
Through a national network of affiliates, UCP has created opportunity for countless persons with disabilities, impacting more than 30,000 children and adults every single day. UCP providers offer a range of services from housing and family supports, to therapies and recreational programming, to training and employment assistance.
Yet, much work remains to be done.
Like the national entity, United Cerebral Palsy of Illinois (UCPI) possesses a proud history of leadership in the areas of disability education, statewide planning, community organization and public advocacy.
Our membership consists of four local affiliates who serve 61 of Illinois’ 102 counties.
As a statewide membership organization, we bring synergy to their efforts, supporting them through statewide education campaigns, public advocacy and providing direct support within the 41 counties where affiliate services do not extend.
